Can Print Mighty print my tee?


How do I open an account?

The most common way to open an account is when you make your first order. Alternatively, you can open an account by clicking SIGN IN on the top of this page.

Can I remove my account?

Yes. First you must sign in. To close your account, go to "My Account", and click on the "My Information" tab. At the bottom right of this page you will see the option to delete your account. It is important to note that this will also remove any stores you have created.

How can I find products on Print Mighty?

Visit the Web Stores page. Here you will find a list of all our web stores that currently have products available. You can use the filter at the top to find what you are after easier. You can also search products from all stores at once by using the search box.

What can I do on the site?

There are three main parts of the site. The first allows you to design and purchase your own item of clothing. The second part is browsing our client web stores for the freshest new designs. Thirdly, you can create you own store and start selling your designs!


How do I use the Designer?

There are three steps involved in designing your own apparel. The first step is choosing the item of clothing (tshirt, sweatshirt, singlet, etc). Secondly you can add an image to your design. In the last step you can add any text. Once you have it looking the way you like, just click 'Add to Cart'.

Can I add my own image?

Yes. When on the second tab "Image", click "Upload Your Own Image". Be aware that we won't print low-res images. Please insure that your image is at least 300 DPI. If we find that your image is too small to print, we will contact you to try and get a higher quality version.

How do I make the background of my uploaded image tranparent?

This is only possible by uploading a png file. To do this, delete any unwanted background contents, and save the file as a png.

When I upload a high quality file, the image doesn't load

Some files may be too large to upload. For store owners, we recommend uploading a smaller file for the web, and sending us the high quality version for print.

What does 300DPI mean?

We print files at 300DPI this refers to the level of detail printed in the finished design or image. The more dots that are packed into each inch of print, the more refined the finished product.

Can I just upload anything?

No. You cannot upload any copyrighted material, including branding, products, or images. When adding a product, you must have the high quality image ready for print immediately.

Why can the colours on my printed shirt look different to whats on my screen?

This is because the colour system used on a computer monitor is RGB. We print in CMYK colouring so the pallet of colours available isn't as large as RGB.

Will my garment arrive looking exactly like I see on the designer screen?

We try to make orders look as accurate as possible to what has been designed while still working inside our printing dimensions of 400mm wide by 500mm tall. If a image is designed larger than these dimensions (or designed to fit perfectly inside the blue square on the designer) it can come out looking different.

What brands do you print on?

We print on quality garments by AS ColourGildan and Novelli.

Are your t-shirts those cheap types that stretch heaps?

No. We only source high quality garments that are designed to last. We don't cut corners.

How long will the print last?

Our prints are designed to last. For best results, we recommend washing garments inside out. This is to prevent any excessive rubbing of the print.


How much can I expect to pay in shipping?

Your shipping cost is determined on your location and how many items you order. This will be reflected in your cart once you have logged in, and we know where were are shipping items to.

Why do some t-shirts cost more than others?

When using the Designer, you will notice some t-shirts cost more than others. This is because they are of a different brand, and cost more for us to source. It is not an indication of quality.


Can I cancel my order?

Until we approve your order for printing, you can cancel it at any time. You cannot cancel it after we have approved your order. This can be done by signing in, and going to 'My Account'. Click on 'My Orders' to view all your orders to date.

How can I make my payment?

We currently accept payments via PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Bank Transfer via POLi payment. All credit card payments are all processed through PayStation/POLi, and the National Bank of New Zealand.

How long will the delivery take?

Delivery within New Zealand should be two-five working days, but can take up to two-three weeks in certain circumstances. Orders outside New Zealand can take two-five weeks to arrive.

Do you see my credit card information?

No. All of our credit card transactions are processed through Paystation, and handled by The National Bank of New Zealand, in a secure payment gateway. Print Mighty Ltd do not receive or keep any records of credit card details.

Web Stores

What are Print Mighty web stores?

These are stores set up by people like you. They are free to open, and you can make money off every sale.

Why is my store not being listed on the Web Stores page?

For your store to be listed, you must add a store profile image. This can be done by going to the My Stores tab in My Account

How do I open a store?

This is an easy three step process. First click 'CREATE A FREE STORE' at the top of this page. You will be required to sign in, or register. Once you've done this, choose one of our site templates to get you started (you can edit this later). After this you need to choose a name, and the domain name. For example, your name might be "Designs By John". Your domain name cannot contain spaces, so you could make it designsbyjohn, or designs_by_john. It's totally up to you. Now choose which category best fits your store.

How do I edit my web store?

First you must be signed in. Go to 'My Account', and click on the 'My Stores' tab. This page will list all your stores. Find the store you want to edit, and click 'Edit Design'. On this page you can upload new images, and change background and text colours. To make things easier on yourself, have another window open, showing your store. This means you can refresh this page to see any changes you make straight away. If you have any further questions, please contact us:

How do I close my store?

How will I know that I have sold a product?

Once signed in, you can view all your sales, by going to 'My Account'. Click on the 'My Stores' tab. Each store you own has a link to 'View Statistics'.

How Much profit do I make on each product in my store?

You can add any amount of profit you want to a product in your web store. What ever amount of profit you add will dictate the final price of your product.

When and how do I get my store profit from sales?

We pay out store owner profit on the first of every month to any stores that have made over $50. We can transfer profit earnings for amounts less than this upon request so please get in touch with us at

When will you need the high quality files for print?

When we receive an order for one of your products, we will contact you for the high quality file. We require the files within 48 hours.

Why have some of my designs been removed?

We remove any images which do not line up with our terms and conditions. Continued uploading of these images may result in the removal of the store entirely.

How wide should I make my header?

This can be any width or height. However, the page width is 846px. Having your header as this width will make your page line up well.

How do I restrict the colours available on my products?

Go to My Stores in My Account. Click on "Edit Products' in your store admin. Here you can choose which colours are available. Remember to save your changes to each product as you go.

Do I need to pay taxes from my profit made?

All tax obligations are the responsibility of the store owner. You can find out more information here:
